NCSE is once again partnering with the international film and broadcasting company, WebsEdge, to bring the Science & the Environment Channel to this year’s 13th National Conference, January 15-17 2013.
The Science & the Environment Channel will be an onsite conference television channel featuring a new episode daily, screened around the venue, as well as on a dedicated television channel in selected guest hotel rooms.
This venture serves to raise the visibility of the hard work of the emergency response, scientific, policy, conservation, and business communities, as well as federal and local government officials and to provide an opportunity to learn about new and ongoing initiatives that are making a difference.
Each daily program has two features: “Thought Leadership” and “Conference News.” Thought Leadership pieces are five-minute sponsored film segments highlighting programs, case studies and best practices from the field of disasters and environment. Conference News is a daily program of conference highlights, featuring “behind the scenes” interviews, coverage of conference events, and reactions to the day from attending delegates.
WebsEdge will be reaching out to organizations and agencies to describe the “Thought Leadership” program and seek their engagement in creating the five-minute documentary-style films highlighting particular aspects of their project work.
There are a limited number of spots available for the five-minute films. If you would like to explore the opportunity of having a film featured in the program, please contact the following WebsEdge team members directly:
